Major responsibilities include A/P, A/R, G/L management, banking, fixed assets, depreciation, and weekly payroll.

Prepare the weekly payroll through Balance Point. Payroll is then journalized and the funds are transferred into the payroll account.

Process cash receipts through the A/R system. Update the cash receipts schedule daily to tie out the A/R balance.

Prepare invoices for payment through the AS400 system. Invoices are paid to terms and provided to the owner for signature. Once completed, the daily A/P edit is reconciled through the A/P Control Schedule.

Prepare journal entries off the month end reports provided by the IT department, as well as the monthly cash receipts, sales and payroll schedules.

Reconcile the operating, payroll, money market and credit card accounts monthly.

Prepare accrual entries for payroll, vacation and expenses on a mid-year and year end basis.

Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual profit and loss analysis, balance sheet analysis and variance analysis.

Developed numerous schedules relating to sales and inventory, rental income, owners’ insurance, cash receipts and accounts payable. These schedules are used by the auditors to tie out our numbers.

Develop and maintain relationships with banking, insurance and vendors to facilitate financial activities.

Instrumental in procuring over $644K in PPE money over the two loan cycles. Aforementioned loans have since been forgiven.

Work with the outside auditors at the mid-year and end of year audit.

Manage 18 office and warehouse staff.
