*In January of 2017 when Wilson decided to cease operations within the state of Alabama, I was the only associate in the state offered a transfer to another facility. It was then that I became manager of their Jacksonville, Florida facility.
* 2 months later, Wilson was purchased by Central Freight Lines, and I began my career with Central.

Milan Express – Montgomery, AL
*Initially hired as their city dispatcher in Memphis, TN in 1988. I was responsible for all phases of the P&D operation. Responsible for OSHA and DOT compliance as well as insuring equipment availability.
*Once the Memphis facility became a break bulk facility, I was promoted to manager of relay operations.
*I was then promoted to Account Manager for the North Memphis and Northwest Mississippi territory serviced by the terminal and produced consistent revenue growth.
*In June of 1996 Milan Express began servicing the entire state of Alabama and I was promoted to Service Center Manager for their new facility in Montgomery, Alabama.
*Responsible for all phases of the terminal’s operations as well as fleet maintenance, outside sales and vendor management.
*The facility was consistently profitable with a steady increase in daily revenue and a very small percentage of employee turnover.
