I began my supervisory duties at the Casa Grande Station in Arizona in 2003, then transferred to the El Paso Station in 2010 and finally transferred to the Fort Hancock Station in 2019. I retired from Border Patrol in 2020.

I was the Acting Watch Commander at the Tornillo Single Adult Facility overseeing the shift operations by assisting the Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) with preparing individuals for repatriation flights to their countries of origin.

At the El Paso Station, I was the Seized Property Specialist managing all seizures and alien’s individual property, its return to the rightful owner, return to the Mexican Consulate, or its destruction and disposal.

I also dealt with SAP; our inventory control system and accounted for sensitive items or items of high value.

I spent two years at Operation Intrepid working with the Office of Field Operations---formerly Customs; being responsible in denying cartel’s drugs, monies, weapons, and ammunition by targeting inbound and outbound travel; in addition to denying terrorists and their weapons entry into the United States.

I worked with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), El Paso Police Department (EPPD), and the government of Mexico.

In 2016, we seized 1.2 million dollars, 12,000 rounds of ammunition, five firearms, 2,400 pounds of marijuana, fifteen pounds of cocaine, and twenty-three pounds of crystal meth.

I was the Tactical Infrastructure Coordinator and Facilities Maintenance Supervisor for the Casa Grande Station that employed 478 personnel.

As the facilities supervisor, I was maintained four different sites. I supervised the Special Projects Unit comprised of six personnel who performed duties such as construction, electrical, plumbing, welding, and heavy equipment operation.

I was an administrative supervisor for two years dealing with station operations. I maintained records of expenditures via QuickBooks. I coordinated efforts with the U.S. military.

In 2008, I was the Tucson Sector Self-Inspection Coordinator working with the Self-Inspection Coordinator at Headquarters in Washington, D.C. and took the lead during an audit by the Management Inspections Division (MID). I received a letter from the Sector Chief Patrol Agent for my efforts.
