Work Experience
Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Arizona Autism - Phoenix, AZ
October 2022 to Present
I perform respite, attendant, and habilitation care for kids that have autism. I perform home care and the service depends on what the kids need. For instance, if I do respite I will take the kid to the park, make slime with them, jump on the trampoline, etc. If I do attendant care it is more focused on helping the child bathe, brush their teeth, get dressed, etc. Habilitation care is more about social skills, helping them do their homework, and working on everyday goals. Undergraduate Researcher
Western Psychological Association - Riverside, CA
April 2023 to April 2023
For 4 days I went to Riverside, California for the WPA conference to present the research I did at school. I walked around the ballroom and listened to what other undergraduate or graduate students did their research on. I also listened to some seminars to listen to professors about what they did their research on. I talked to fellow psychologists about potential internships and I am glad that I got my name and research out to the public. Lastly, I met the famous Dr. Zimbardo and that was something I thought I would never be able to do!
