PROFESSIONAL EXPERINCE:
Experienced in construction of structures like residential bungalows and high rise buildings, schools, hospitals, markets, filling stations and office complexes like secretariats. Other areas of expertise include civil infrastructures like culvert (box and ring), water reservoir, drainages, stone pitching, kerbs laying, earthwork, landscaping etc.
PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE
Wesley Emmanuel Daam worked with Tongley Nig LTD from February 1993 – August 1995 after the completion of a National Diploma in civil Engineering as a site supervisor for the construction of senior staff quarters for the Nigerian intelligent Agency (NIA) Karu, FCT, Corner Shops with basement behind ECOWAS quarters Apo and the CBN quarters, Garki II FCT.
From 1996 Wesley Emmanuel Daam worked with an Italian company, Roan Construction LTD as a site supervisor for the construction of Engineering infrastructures like the Ecological fund project drainage at Legislative and Owoniyi quarters in Jalingo Taraba state, Culverts and drainages on Numan – Biu road and Mararaba – Bali roads in Adamawa and Taraba states respectively. Our Lady Queen of peace Cathedral, and the Catholic Secretariat both in Mile – six Jalingo, Carmelite sisters Convent at Zing are some of the projects completed in Taraba state. Others are the Con – oil mega filling station housing the Glo office, Equitorial Trust Bank in Yola Town Adamawa state.
In 2006 Wesley Emmanuel Daam registered a business name Dew Ventures (Nig.) with the Corporate Affairs Commission which was involved in various construction projects including residential, churches, schools in various locations in Taraba state.
In April 2009 Emmanuel was employed as a site supervisor to participate in the construction of the New Jigawa State Secretariat with Ag Ferrero and co. limited from where in 2012 was transferred to the hostel and faculty project Center Of Excellence Bayero University Kano where he resigned in 2014 to take up a contract work with Enp tech at the Sunti Sugar factory in Niger state
Later in 2014 He participated in the construction of the D.S.S. Training Academy Ikot - Okon Odupani, Cross-River state as the site engineer for Cartil Construzioni from where he was transferred to Akwa Ibom State after Completing the Substructure Work of the Multi-purpose and hostel project to Construct a lecture theatre at University of Uyo main Campus.
In 2016 Emmanuel went to construct a 10 storey hotel building at Lekki Ikota with IOU Consult where He did the setting out and construction upto the first floor slab from where he took up a estate building finishing contract at Brookshore estate with Hall 7 project in Abuja FCT.
In mid 2016 Emmanuel worked as a sub-contractor with Intrepid Global Services Nig. To construct a 2x60Mva,132/33Kva power sub-station Gagarawa Jigawa State, which has been on and off due to cash constraint.
In 2017 he was involved as a subcontractor for Bwalco Nig LTD in the extension and construction of classrooms, music hall, IT office at American International School Durumi Abuja.
In 2018, as a subcontractor with Intrepid Global Services Nig., oversaw the supervision of the extension, renovation,and upgrading of RH Plastics LTD, Kakuri Industrial Layout Kaduna state.
Between 2018 - 2021, He applied and due to incessant academic strikes completed his Higher National Diploma in Civil Engineering at the Plateau State Polytechnic Barkin Ladi.
In 2021, Emmanuel was engaged with Intrepid Global Services Nig. as a site Engineer for the construction of a 3 unit 3 floor with basement Terrace building at Maitama district FCT Abuja.
