Implemented the project plan for exploration drilling of lithium bearing brines in north central Arizona. Duties included managing the drilling crew, contractors, and support staff. Interacted with the ADWR, BLM. Responsible for all data collection from the drilling including, core retrieval, water sampling, downhole geophysics, and video.

2021 – 2022 Arizona Metals Corporation, Exploration Manager

Provided professional consulting services for a mine development project utilizing multiple drilling rigs and crews. This included drill hole data collection from a volcanogenic massive sulfide deposit hosting gold, copper, and zinc. Also authored several Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to standardize drilling, core logging, QA/QC, and water supply well installation.

2020 – 2021 Junior Mining Company, Contract Geologist

Provided project support work in drilling operations for porphyry copper exploration. Conducted detailed core logging and data input into the acQuire database.

2018 – 2020 Excelsior Mining Corporation, Contract Geologist

Team member in the planning of the injection and recovery wells of the in-situ Gunnison Project. Contributed geologist support for a large drilling project to fully test a copper skarn system in the Paleozoic sections of southeastern Arizona. Primary duties are geologic and hydrologic data collection and assimilation into the acQuire database for mine planning.

2014 – 2018 Anglo American Exploration (USA), Contract Geologist

Assisted the Tucson exploration team in generative exploration that includes geologic research, land acquisition, mapping and sampling, airborne and surface geophysics, conceptual modeling, and drill target identification of Laramide porphyry copper deposits in the Western Cordillera. In addition, I was instrumental in the inception, planning, executing and completion of exploration projects including target generation, land acquisition and permitting, site assessment and preparation, access construction, logistics and equipment mobilization (drilling), supply procurement, and reclamation.

2013 – 2014 Freeport McMoran Copper & Gold Inc., Senior Exploration Geologist

Mine site exploration geologist for the Sierrita Mine. Worked with a team of eight geologists to increase the tonnage and grade of the copper and molybdenum resource. Planned deep exploration drilling programs utilizing airborne and surface geophysics. Collected, compiled, and assimilated geologic data for monthly model revisions. Assisted the hydrology department in the groundwater monitor well installation and data collection.

2012 – 2013 BHP Billiton, Geologist

Assisted in organizing the geologic database for the production department and assisted with the historic data validation for the 2013 resource modeling for the Pinto Valley ore deposit in preparation for sale to Capstone Mining Inc. Provided geologic support for all departments including environmental and hydrology. Assisted with the slope stability issues and managed the geotechnical contractors.

2011 – 2012 Millrock Resources, Contract Geologist

Assisted in planning the land acquisition, airborne geophysics and target identification of porphyry copper deposits in the Safford District, Arizona. Managed the permitting, road construction, drill hole layout, and hiring of drilling and heavy equipment contractors. Acted as the geologist for processing HQ core from depth of 5000ft below surface.
