● Emotional Intelligence: By empowering and knowing my team and offering them autonomy and resources they needed. I held the lowest voluntary turnover in my community 7 years in a row. I was recognized annually during year-in-reviews by my Executive Director.

● Organization: Coordinated, planned, and facilitated health & fitness activities, entertainment, events, and programs for residents to ensure participation and longevity. ● Program Design: Developed exercise programs for in-home exercises and consulted on frequency, intensity, time, and intervals. I improved range of motion and mobility in one client that made it much easier for the caregivers to toilet. Family members of this client were very relieved to have less work.

● Verbal Skills: Calmly address needs of family members and advise them on Ombudsman, care issues, transportation options, and Florida assisted living regulations. I was able to design a wheelchair locking set-up in the family vehicle so that mother could safely come on 1

outings with the family. Grandchildren of this senior thanked me that grandma could come to the store now.

● Financial Planning: Gave cost estimates to families on what to expect with levels of care dealing with Home Health, Assisted Living, Independent Living, or Memory Care. I was able to get ombudsman help to a senior who was being financially abused by a spouse. 1. Business Development and Marketing: Successfully increased residency from 0 to 100% full with a waiting list of a new residence community – 235,000 square foot campus. Supervised social media accounts for social influence, marketing & sales, and publicity. This also included filming and editing videos. Increased resident engagement, all classes attended increased by 15% AL & 20 IL%. - My regional director in a yearly audit, spoke highly of this stat.

2. Compassionate Accountability: Held the highest employee retention rate four years in a row. All of my employees became Employee of the Month at least once. 3. Emergency Preparedness: As an On-Call Manager on Duty, improved staff’s reaction time to residents’ call lights by 34%. - Our surveys reflected this, and I was praised by the care staff for helping them reach their goals.

4. Leadership Experience: Completed a 24 months executive director apprenticeship with the Executive Director and during this mentorship, successfully increased customer satisfaction survey results by 12%. Our Operations VP honored me during a conference call for helping this number.

5. Delegation: Improved drivers’ pickup and dropoff times by implementing technologies and more driver autonomy- measured by 70% fewer complaints of residents waiting for rides. One resident walked into my office to thank me for not having to wait at her doctor’s office for 3 hours.

6. Sales: Maintained a 90% close rate of potential residents when leading the tour of the community. My sales manager constantly mentioned how helpful this is from a director. 7. Memory Care Management: While overseeing the memory care unit, improved resident engagement by adding 5 activities each day by involving care, sales, and housekeeping staff. My Nursing Director was able to see fewer complaints about care from family members as residents were engaged. In turn she wrote me an email to share how grateful she was for increased activities.

8. Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design: Develop promotion and publicity plans for wellness and fitness programs throughout the organization including associates. 100% full building with waiting list April 2021-2022.

9. Fiscal Leadership:Provided administrative oversight such as projecting, managing, and monitoring resident and facility accounts and budgets over $400,000.00. Achieved 2

revenue goals six quarters consecutively and met budget expectations in all 6 calendar years. This put me in position to receive more responsibilities and an increased budget. 10.Financial Planning: Projected capital expenditures by recognizing needs in the community and totaling the cost through research. Through careful observation, I proposed problems of bad acoustics in the auditorium and poor lighting in one of the major hallways. I designed and assembled a sound system using wireless microphones and designed a trophy case with backlighting to be installed in the dim hallway. 11. Mentoring and Coaching: Tutored new community management members in policies, frontline staff scheduling, and financial reports. Reduced on-boarding time for new management positions by 2 weeks. The new Dining Service Director let me order from the premium menu for a year because I helped him transition so quickly into his role.
