Consistent communication and detailed documentation ensure success in any sales or customer service role I perform. Persistent and personable, my numbers always go up!

Experience: Sales Manager or Business Development Rep Customer Service – in person, by phone or email

May 2021 to NOW (July 2023) – During the pandemic, I was eligible for unemployment but worked whenever I could, primarily as office manager or doing sales/customer service for handyman franchises and call centers to cover vacations and maternity leaves. Since April 2023, I have been the Event Coordinator at a national chain restaurant, responsible for all the details that delight customers and provide smooth operations (and profitability) for the banquet and kitchen staffs.

August 2020 to April 2021

Customer Service Manager, House Doctors of Charlotte

A start up franchise killed by Covid 19. We seemed destined for success until our lead estimator/home repair technician was out for 2 months starting in January 2021 with Covid 19 resulting in longhaul effects. I pursued all leads in the proprietary CRM, set appointments for estimates and scheduled the work to be done, took payments. My work was accomplished by phone and email. I built relationships while following up on as many as 28 leads per day. Due to the scarcity of employable, experienced technicians and supply chain slowdowns in obtaining materials, the franchise shut down in May 2021.

September 2017 to April 2020

Business Development Rep, Servpro of NE Mecklenburg County

I was the fourth person in this role in one year. I made up to 25 cold calls per day over an immense sales territory and brought in some of the biggest remediation jobs this 17 year old franchise ever had. Also attended marketing meetings around the city (such as BNI) and sent out email blasts when bad weather hazards were imminent. Detailed my outreach efforts and sales calls meticulously in the CRM. I left because earned commissions were not paid timely or at all.

APRIL 2012 TO MAY 2017

Manager, Medical Staffing Network

A medical temp agency (startup franchise) for which I did all marketing, recruiting, testing, hiring, onboarding and payroll input including check signing. Marketed to clinics and hospitals in a 50 mile radius around Charlotte. I loved this job and was a powerhouse. My branch merged with Nursing branch, I declined a transfer to Raleigh.
