Ricky Wingard

Born in Columbia, SC 1953, attended Lexington county schools, then Clemson University and received a BS in Zoology. I have worked in the pesticide and Pest Control industry since 1979 and have been the owner of Econ-O-Bug Termite, Pest Control and Repair company since 1981.

I have a wife Becky, who also attends Pilgrim. Four children, Angileigh, Tyler, Jamie, and Terry and 6 grandchildren. I like to hunt and fish, garden and be outdoors. We like to boat and hang out at Lake Murray and socialize with our friends. I like to read a variety of subjects.

I have attended Pilgrim since 1957 and have served on all committees and teams as well as church council and Chairman of council 3 times. Passionate about how much we are blessed and how we need to respond in giving back from these blessings God has given to us! I KNOW the Holy Spirit is present at Pilgrim and has something important for us to accomplish! We need to be in discernment about this and “Love and Serve one another and our “brothers and sisters” as we wait for our “road map”.

Bill Spires

Born on April 29, 1956 to Carroll Wayne Spires and Maxine Spires. I attended Brookland Cayce and Airport schools through Jr. High. I graduated from Rose High in Greenville, NC. I have been married to Linda Spires since 1973 and we have two grown children, James and Thomas Spires and two Grand Children.

I own a small business, Aztec Services, that sells, calibrates and services industrial tools. We have lived in Yacht Cove for over 30 years. My hobbies include sailing and travel.

Jenny Vagle

I have been attending Pilgrim church for 2 years and have been an active member of the women’s bible study group. I have recently served out an empty seat on council and am a member of the personnel committee. I am excited about the future of this church and how I can contribute to the growth and development of the congregation.

I am a Certified Public Accountant working as a Tax Director for a manufacturing company in Lexington. I also have two amazing kids who fill my life with joy. I am looking forward to many future years for myself and my kids to grow spiritually with the people here at Pilgrim.

Carolyn Davenport

I came to Pilgrim from Trinity Lutheran, Orlando, Fl. in 2006. For the first year I was only known as Richard Maxwell’s mother but came into my own through service. I was taught from an early age to attend as well as serve the church. I am currently teaching Sunday school, serving out an empty seat on Church Council, as well as the preschool board and volunteering wherever needed.

James Metts
