This is a home healthcare and respiratory services company. Advised the CEO on protocols to accomplish a turnaround at an acquired company to facilitate change and improve financial stability.

Supervised post-acquisition due diligence; this resulted in a recovery of $217K from the seller.

Specialized Medical Services (Riverside Holding Company) – Milwaukee, WI 2008 – 2015

CFO/Vice President of Operations

This is a national respiratory and medical supply that was purchased by the Riverside group. Recruited as the CFO to work with the new CEO. Accomplishments included the hiring of a new finance team, initiated new processes, developed working capital initiatives, supported mid-year financing, developed new profitability models, and launched new business plans. Results include successful audits, new business, improved EBITDA, better billing, and material management software. In 2015, served as the VP of operations for the SMS acquisition of Premier Medical. Partnered with the CEO/Riverside group to successfully sell the company for a profitable multiple of EBITDA.

SAIC (formerly MaxIT Healthcare) – Westfield, IN 2007 – 2008

Prepared and completed the sale of MaxIT Healthcare to a private equity company. Performed C-level duties in negotiations, financing, reporting, and all other areas of due diligence and compliance. Played a key role in maximizing the sales price of the company.

This is a Canadian pharmaceutical manufacturer with a US subsidiary. Began with the US division at start-up at the request of the newly installed president, established US systems for strategic planning, financial reporting, general ledger, budgeting, and accounts receivable activities. Built the finance department, partnered with the president to design and execute strategic and tactical planning, and implemented a modern contract/chargeback process.
