I currently work as a medical assistant at the Hendrick Urgent care Clinic in Brownwood TX. I triage the patients after they have been brought into a room. Once patients have been triaged I will let the provider know what the patient's symptoms are and help with any procedures if the provider needs assistance. I will also administer injections or medications once orders have been put in charts. If X-Rays need to be taken, I will perform them as well if need to. Once the provider has released a patient to be discharged then I will discharge them and disinfect the exam room for the next patient to be seen.
