US Programs Pre-Arrivals Lead

Managed and provided oversight of all functions necessary for the pre-arrival processing of all refugee cases annually, approximately 3,000 cases per year, from countries of origin to national affiliate offices (i.e. family reunification, placement and assurance, transmission of information to Refugee Processing Center (RPC), oversee deadlines, transportation including unaccompanied minors, etc.) under U.S. Department of State Reception and Placement cooperative agreement.

Secured and managed $200,000 LDS grant and developed the LDS program where I engage in budget planning, program planning, administering grants to national affiliates to acquire resources for refugees and asylums (gender focused), development of program and budget monitoring (M&E), evaluation and program performance reporting mechanisms; due to the success of the programs advocated for and secured a 5% increase in grant funding the following year.

Proposal drafting for federal grants (i.e. budget and program lifecycle) Department of State, Health and Human Services ORR and ACFS grants

Regularly analyzed local resettlement affiliates' pipelines and service capacity in order to make appropriate case placement decisions. Discuss case placements with affiliate staff as needed.

Managed of Air B&B and Airfare programs south of the boarder migrant.
