Centene Corporation – Consulting Engagement (Remote)

Sr Scrum Master for a Contract Automation/Claims Processing Proof of Concept.

Also acted as BSA and Product Owner.

Automated fee schedule updates from AI enabled contract management system, Icertis, to Burgess Claims Pricing application, saving Centene about 6.4 person hours per day.

Icertis and Burgess are both cloud based.

AI was used to produce the contract and recognize when fee schedules needed to be updated. Apache Kafka Events are used to trigger updates which pulled all the relevant data from multiple databases, format the transactions and send them to the Burgess API.

Was asked to write a white paper on this POC and to conduct multiple presentations to Launch consultants on overcoming complex, high risk challenges to deliver on time and within budget.

Conducted agile training classes and coaching.

Developed best practices documents and templates as a member of the Digital Delivery Studio.

AI Champion

As a member of the AI Champions initiative, developed and presented samples of complex prompts for ChatGPT and Bard.

Conducted training for Launch consultants on how ChatGPT can be used to make us more productive on daily basis by producing RFPs, Features, User Stories and other documents.

Training included responsible use of AI.

Used ChatGPT to write a white paper on prompt engineering as part of my training materials and demonstrated multiple iterations to evaluate and make the prompts more effective. The final prompt generated a complete white paper that included the formula for calculating man hours saved and produced the correct result.
