Summary

Current position: Senior Operation Geologist in the Exploration Department, Western Desert Petroleum Company (WEPCO).

Previous Position: Senior Operation Geologist in the Exploration Department, Rashid Petroleum Company JV of (Shell &Petronas Companies).

I’m Ph.D. holder in Petrophysics, I have 18 years of experience in Oil Field, 14 years of experience as Senior Operation Geologist & 4 years of experience as Petrophysicist.

As Senior Operation Geologist I drilled more than 110 wells and have solid experience in all kind of wells, Exploration and Development Wells also Vertical and Deviated Wells, I finalized all office Reports.

Managing and handle all operation with technical people on rigs site whom i witness and i responsible for, like (Wellsite Geologists, data Engineers, Mud loggers, LWD/MWD Engineers, Wireline Engineers, Pressure Engineers, Bio-stratigraphy’s and other.

Managing all kinds of rigs like Land, Jack-up, Semi-sub and drill ships Rigs with professional and safe way, with excellent communications with all technical people from different nationalities,

Managing up to 6 rigs at same time, and I have the ability to manage more than this number with high professionally and accuracy.

I'm responsible for all type of data a question, QC and interpretation like (GR, Resistivity, sonic, Density, Neutron, MDT, CMR, VSP, FMI, defining casing point, cutting handling, Gas fluid sampling, conventional core, Side wall core, LWD, MWD, Mud log, DGR and pore pressure). Deliver and work on these data with different disciplines in the office like (Geologists, Geophysicists, Geo-Modelers, Reservoir Engineering, project Engineers and pore pressure Engineers), and working with them to solve any problem as a teamwork).

I worked in different concessions of Western desert and Mediterranean Sea.

As Petrophysicist I have Solid experience in Conventional tools & I make Petrophysical Model with it.

Also, I have Solid experience in advanced tools like CMR. & I make Petrophysical Model with it.

I have PhD in Petrophysics of conventional and unconventional reservoirs.

Qualifications

2018 I have PhD in Petrophysics in (Reservoir Characterization and Hydrocarbon Detection with Conventional and unconventional reservoirs for Kafr El Sheikh Formation at Sapphire Field, Offshore, Nile Delta in Egypt) Geology Department, El Azhar University.

2015 master’s degree in Petrophysics (Geological setting, Sequence stratigraphy and Petrophysical evaluation in Pliocene sediments in Sequoia Field Offshore Nile Delta, Mediterranean Sea, Egypt) Geology Department, El Azhar University.

2008 pre-master’s degree in “Petroleum Geology” Geology Department, with excellent grad.

2004 Bachelor of Science, Azhar University- Faculty of Science- geology department with grad (very good with honour degree and second position on the class) The University was requested me with official letter to employment there but I preferred petroleum sector.

Experience

I have 18+ years of experience in Oil Field

124 years of experience in exploration and development geology as Senior Operation Geologist.

4 years of experience as Petrophysicist with dealing with both Conventional and advanced Tools.

I Am working in Gas and oil fields (Western Desert and Mediterranean), Egypt.

Solid Experience on wireline log witness.

Languages: Arabic is mother tongue & Very good at speaking English and writing.

Computer skills: Good Command in dealing with computer software that run under Windows and Linux Systems environments.

Petrophysicist

Responsibilities include:

I worked as senior operation geologist in General Petroleum Company for one years, from 2005-2006 on Onshore Rigs in the carbonate reservoirs.

I worked as operation geologist and Petrophysicist in Rashid Petroleum Company JV of Shell and Petronas from 2006-2018, on Offshore Rigs in sand-shale reservoirs.

WEPCO 2018 till now as operation petrophysicist.

Petrophysics

Plan the logging program for operated wells.

Advanced petrophysical analysis for conventional and unconventional reservoirs via advanced technique.

Open Hole Log Analysis experience. Conventional and Advanced tools.

Making a quality check on the digital tape data (DLIS, LIS, LAS & ASCII) while logging

Solid experience in CMR, FMI & MDT.

Cased hole logging witness interpretation including RST tool.

Rock typing to understand reservoir clearly.

Solid experience to make integration between conventional core and logs.

Project of Petrophysical evaluation of Rosetta Field by conventional Tools:

Project of Drilling Wells of Abu-SANAN and EL-HAMD fields in GPC.

Project of drilling development and exploratory wells of Rosetta Field by (Jack Up rig).

Project of drilling development wells of Sapphire Field by (Semi-submersible rigs).

I finished all Petrophysical evaluation for Rosetta Field with high accuracy, and provided Reservoir Engineers, Geo-modelers, and Geophysicist with it, to complete their Models.

The Geo-models was having problems in their Model before I provided them with Petrophysical Results from Conventional Tools.

By the end of the project the Geological Model become match very Well with Reservoir Engineers.

Project of Petrophysical evaluation of Sapphire Field by both conventional and advanced Tools.

Project of making data base for all company fields and refining all curves.

Project of coaching of new hires.
