Sr Instructional Designer/Change Manager for Lam Research – Contract

Droisys, Fremont, CA, September 2022 – January 2023

Instructional Design and Change Management Project Support for the Customer Support Business Group.

At Lam Research I was assigned to a critical software licensing project and successfully created a series of training courses in order to train new users on a new tool used to create software keys for specific customers. At the conclusion of the project, I successfully took complex software processes and turn them into simple step by step guides for easy understanding. Training tools included, Microsoft 360, Techsmith Camtasia, and Wellsaid Labs Text to Speech.

I also able to create solid relationships with the key stakeholders of the project and was able to determine who was the best SME to work with to successfully produce the series of high-quality training courses within the tight scheduled time. I also assisted other team members in editing English written training notes for English grammar and other sentence structure for non-English speaking members.

As member of the Sales Learning & Enablement team, I design, update and convert ADI’s online sales learning & enablement training courses in Powerpoint into eLearning content using Articulate 360. Lead and assisted in creating mandatory training for PGE’s estimators and associate distribution engineers (ADE) in O-Calc Pro for electric estimating. Course consists of teaching new 3D structure analysis software for utility pole safety and analysis with over 700 PGE students successfully trained.

Successfully instructed more than 1100 PGE employees, with positive metrics attributed to instructor led training.
