Analyzing health disparities in diabetes using R and Tableau, and recommending strategies to reduce disparities: For health disparities in diabetes, analyzed Synthea data and performed the statistical analysis, including univariate and bivariate analysis, as well as logistic regression using R. The findings were then translated into a clinic dashboard created using Tableau to track progress and measure health disparities. Recommended ways to reduce the disparities include tracking medication compliance from patients, organizing periodic preventive health screening camps at communities, and gathering patient feedback on their experiences.
Assessing Supply Chain Readiness for Hospice Care - Analysis of CMS Data and Identification of Key Factors: Analyzed the supply chain readiness for hospice care by researching and utilizing Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services data. I utilized exponential smoothing to make a forecast and conducted multiple analyses to determine the primary factors that hinder the supply chain's readiness for hospice care. Finally, conclude that addressing the shortage of registered and licensed nurse staff is crucial for ensuring supply chain readiness. Taking action to remedy this issue is imperative to enhance the overall preparedness of the supply chain.
Feasibility Study for a Diagnostic Kit - Interviews with Key Opinion Leaders and Market Research Findings: Our team has completed a client project which involved conducting a feasibility study for a diagnostic kit for a specific disease. As part of the project, we conducted interviews with Key Opinion Leaders from the Healthcare industry to gather their feedback. Furthermore, we conducted independent research on the competitive and market landscape and incorporated comments from the Key Opinion Leaders. We presented our findings and recommendations to the client in the form of a detailed feasibility report.
The Significance of Price Transparency in Hospitals -Benefits for Patients, Payers, and Providers: The research conducted focused on price transparency in hospitals, demonstrating the current adoption of price transparency and addressing practical challenges through the utilization of available market tools. The study also presented a comprehensive analysis of data points emphasizing the importance of price transparency, including the benefits it offers patients in terms of autonomy and transparency. Additionally, the research highlighted how payers and providers can also benefit from price transparency initiatives.
Exploring Heart Disease Mortality in the United States- Visualizing Data and Identifying Patterns using Tableau & Python: The analysis of heart disease mortality in the United States involved the utilization of various data visualization techniques, such as TSNE, MDS analysis, K-means clustering, S-clusters, heat maps, and pie charts, with the assistance of Tableau software. The clusters were depicted based on both state and regional divisions, and a dynamic dashboard was developed to highlight the inadequate media coverage of heart diseases.
Converting Kaggle raw data into a SQL database, utilizing SQL queries to address business questions, and conducting an analysis of nurse attrition: Using the Kaggle dataset, a comprehensive analysis was performed to explore the factors influencing the nurse attrition rate. The dataset underwent thorough data cleaning and preprocessing to ensure accurate and reliable results. Relevant calculated fields were incorporated, and business queries were formulated, leveraging various key SQL commands such as analytic functions, subqueries, triggers, indexes, and functions. These valuable insights into the underlying causes of nurse attrition for healthcare organizations to develop targeted retention strategies and address workforce challenges. The project's exceptional quality and performance led to its high regard and recognition, resulting in a top-ranking position among a total of 20 groups.
