Aggressive in identifying and resolving inefficient operational/technical processes. Strong team member, able to motivate team members to achieve predefined objectives, highly motivated, quick learner, and creative. Ability to improve business processes by applying proper technical tools and resources effectively. Experiences

PETRONAS Company, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 2012 to 2018 (Nov.) Specialist Reservoir Engineer

I contributed as a Specialist Reservoir Engineer in PETRONAS. During my tenure at PETRONAS, I have been involved in several FDP studies and successfully delivered them as per scope and schedule. Dealing with challenging reservoirs with different geological complexities has broadened my experiences for future challenges to be taken easily. Proactively involved and supported infill drilling operations and led RE well testing group to deliver well testing jobs in challenging reservoirs which were acknowledged/appreciated by superiors and management. Mentoring junior engineers to get to know technical software such as Eclipse (100/300), Petrel, Intersect, PVTi, PVTsim, Prosper, MBAL, Harmony (RTA), Saphir, Topaze, etc. Effectively completed and evaluated reservoir simulation activities (from input data QC/analysis and integration with other subsurface data to history matching and prediction scenarios) to formulate and support FDP assurance reviews.

Experienced in reservoir simulation using a variety of most advanced industry simulators as part of main activities in addition to basic reservoir engineering analysis (with geological complexities ranging from highly laminated, highly faulted, unconformity to stacked sandstone reservoirs, etc). Dealt with depletion drive oil and gas reservoir, gas and water injection, iWAG reservoir simulation/optimization, etc.

Leaded RE activities and integrated subsurface data with G&G and petrophysicist team members.

Successfully led RE well testing group for more than 5 well testing jobs (Oil and Gas reservoirs) within less than a year. During that time successfully performed: o Precisely reviewed and planned well test data required for future reservoir development as Technical Authority (TA) and optimized it with conditions and other disciplines (Production and Drilling).

o Sophisticated test design and proactively provided support to the Well Test Operation Team pre-job.

o Monitoring the job and providing technical support 24/7. o Delivered high-quality interpretation (Pressure Transient Analysis/PTA) with the latest analysis techniques (analytical and numerical PTA, deconvolution) and present the results to exploration management as Subject Matter Expert.

o Mentoring young engineers on well testing.

Successfully led an initiative of application of Rate Transient Analysis (RTA) for conventional gas and oil reservoirs and formulated/wrote up RTA guidelines for reservoir engineers and published three papers as author/co-author.

Productively delivered reservoir simulation activities such as: o Simulation input data preparation (PVT, Core, Production Data Allocation, Pressure data interpretation (MDT/RFT/SGS/FGS), Fluid Contacts (OWC/GWC/GOC), etc.) and QC data versus basic reservoir engineering methods (MBAL, Production Data Analysis) to be used in simulation software (Petrel/Eclipse/Intersect/tNavigator). o History matching of dynamic data for complex highly faulted layered and stacked sandstone reservoirs with active water injection.

o Prediction scenarios (NFA, infill drilling, WI, GI, iWAG) for future development economic evaluation.

Actively attended in series of Annual Reserve and Resource booking meetings (ARPR) as Technical Authority (TA) to endorse Reserves and Resources for the development of some of the undertaken Joint Venture (JV) fields/reservoirs.

MOHAMMAD EBRAHIM YAZDI Petroleum/Reservoir Engineer ad2iny@r.postjobfree.com • Mobile +989********* • Mobile +601********(WA)

Being risk savvy is one of my key skills, required in any field development, which I gained through active involvement in petroleum engineering activities from study to operations and combining with statistics fundamentals and subsurface uncertainty quantification skills.

Became knowledgeable about offshore EOR projects during my three years of work experience as RE in EOR Center (joint organization managed by SHELL). In one of the projects, I successfully managed to complete the project for Final Investment Decision (FID) in a short period and added 2 MMSTB of the incremental reserve for an iWAG project.

Being able to successfully run the preliminary economic analysis for a development project to calculate NPV, IRR, PIR, UDC, etc to investigate and maximize the value of the project at the early stages of study.

Managed to assist the department head to decide by performing an unbiased technical evaluation of commercial software which resulted in proposing a cost-effective and technically accepted way forward. Hands-on experience in practical reservoir engineering aspects, extensive experience in the efficient using RE softwares as well as contributing as a technical professional for reviewing the FDP studies, Behind Casing Opportunities (BCO) and Workover (WO) plans with Joint Venture (JV) partners, I have gained a broad insight and experiences in the development projects with different challenges/uncertainties/risks which will help me to manage and contribute to any future challenges.

Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC), Tehran, Iran 2002 to 2012 Senior Reservoir Engineer/Project Leader

Started my career at IOOC as a reservoir engineer and quickly developed the knowledge and expertise required for a higher senior position within 7 years of hard work. Contributed to increasing oil production as a senior reservoir engineer and later as region project leader. Successfully delivered by applying technical expertise for various FDP studies and operational areas such as:

Development well placement (infill drilling) in undertaken fields and increased company reserves.

Successfully increased developed reserves of the company by integrating different disciplines (such as Geology, Petrophysics, Drilling, and Production) and proactively following up daily operations, supervising RE-related parts of operation in daily meetings, optimizing well trajectory as necessary to achieve well objectives.

Successfully revived an intermittent oil producer by proposing tubing change and convincing management to implement which resulted in continuous production and smooth operation and eventually reserve addition.

Constructed reservoir simulation models and history matching for infill target identification and optimizing infill drilling targets for maintaining oil production as per the annual field/reservoir work plan.

Mentored junior reservoir engineers to perform daily activities such as well test analysis, preparing well proposal, ARPR, interacting with other PE disciplines, simulation, etc.

Planned and monitored jobs related to reservoir engineering operations such as DST, MDT, well testing, PVT sampling, pressure survey, coring, etc with effective interaction with different service companies to optimize the cost as per objective.

Planned for data acquisition (RFT/MDT, SGS, FGS, PBU, PLT, etc) which the results have major impacts in future reservoir studies. Interpreting data while acquiring was implemented always to minimize data acquisition campaign costs offshore and get the most out of the data for future developments.

Managed to perform, validate, and review reserve booking (ARPR) for undertaken reservoirs, fields, and region.

Added company reserves by providing assurance review of the Master Development Plans for decision- making by management.

Successfully presented technical and economic reasons for the infeasibility of a proposed offshore development of a heavy oil carbonate fracture reservoir for the Managing Director and Managers. MOHAMMAD EBRAHIM YAZDI Petroleum/Reservoir Engineer ad2iny@r.postjobfree.com • Mobile +989********* • Mobile +601********(WA) Eventually, stopped an infeasible project initiation, and cut unnecessary huge costs and potential losses for the company.

Added value to the company’s revenue from challenging oil reservoirs by providing field development recommendations and technical implementation support.

Full familiarity and experience in well logs interpretation to efficiently support operation and study aspects of reservoir engineering.
