SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS:

I graduated from Edinburg High School in 1987 with an 88.7 Grade Point Average, after which I enrolled at Pan American University. I graduated in 1994 with a 2.79 Grade Point Average from this University after it was annexed by the University of Texas System with a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Political Science with a minor in Speech Communications. Then 3 years later in 1998, I went back to school to finish a Degree in Education with a minor in Reading. I became Certified in 2001 with a 3.00 Grade Point Average and began teaching in 2003 in Edinburg CISD. I was deemed above proficient the 8 plus years I taught and I have excellent rapport with students, including 10 years of Substitute Teaching. In addition, I have 15 plus years being computer and other office equipment literate. I have experience in research, project management, and data entry. I continued to teach until 2010. In 2013, I was hired as an Educator in Alice, TX. I was re-certified in 2013 but afterwards allowed my license to lapse after the 5 year period in 2018 because I needed to return home to take care of my bedridden mother. I feel really bad about letting that happen because I loved teaching. I have also attained an insurance license through the State of Texas (stated below). Still given the fact that I have branched out to other fields such as Insurance, tells you that I am open to other fields of work to keep earned revenue coming in.
