I worked with Keith Leahy from December 18, 2017, through April 11, 2022. Both of Pharos Claim Service’s clients were placed in Receivership by the Louisiana Department of Insurance causing layoffs that included Keith.

Keith was initially hired to adjust litigated homeowner claims. He was effective in this role and received promotions to Claim Supervisor, Claim Manager, Claim Director, and member of the Pharos Executive Leadership Team during his time at Pharos. In his most recent role, he was responsible for the claim escalation unit that resolved disputes arising from the 2021 Cat season. In this role he developed processes and procedures, provided claims handling training, and completed employee reviews. Keith is an effective leader who genuinely cares about his direct reports, is self-motivated, and works well without needing oversight.

Keith led an initiative our “Voice of the Employee” initiative that he designed to obtain feedback from our employees and recommendations for areas of improvement. As a result, we implemented additional communication opportunities for employees including a quarterly town hall meeting and weekly supervisor meetings.

Keith would still be employed if the insurance carriers were not placed in Receivership, and I would hire him again.
