I was responsible for packaging a certain amount of rice in the correct bags. Then I would seal the bags and put in approximately twenty bags per box until we would fill up the whole pallet and repeat the same process all the time until the bag of rice was empty. We had to pay attention that we were putting the rice in the correct bag because sometimes the rice was another type.

This job was my favorite, I was responsible for taking out the orders on the phone and in person. I was also a cashier and I would win almost $100 of tips, so this explains what type of cashier I was and how much the clients liked my work. At the end of my shift, I was incharge of cleaning and restocking everything that had to be restocked such as, ketchup, mustard, and ranch. I enjoyed this job because it's what made me decide that I enjoyed working fast and attending people no matter how busy I was. I would be sure that everyone had my attention by letting them know how much longer they were going to wait for their food and who didn't had their food yet.

My work here was to put in any canned food that I was incharge to putting in the boxes that were controlled by a machine that would move the boxes towards the people of the assembly line. Sometimes I was incharge of tuna cans, when the box was on my way, I would quickly throw in three cans or sometimes six cans at a time into the box. Then whoever was at the end of the line was incharge of making sure it had all the canned foods complete in the box and slid it through a machine that would seal the box and put it onto the pallets.

I am incharge of cleaning and refilling anything that needs to be filled up from the vegetables and the fruit department. My job involves receiving the new produce and making sure everything came in safe. I just started this job because I was looking for a job to work all this year since I am graduating from college in May, but I get paid the minimum and I believe that I deserve a better pay for the work I do. I am hoping to get accepted as a medical receptionist not because its pay is good but because I want to start involving myself in the medical field since it is what my major is going to be about.

I graduated from Lindhurst High School as a 3.0 student. I reached all my credits but I was not involved so much in clubs or in sports since I was the oldest and also because my last two years was when COVID hit us all. I had to take care of my sisters and I had a lot more responsibilities at a young age. That does not mean that I do not like working as a group. I love interacting with people and helping people out. Which is why I am focused in the medical field.

I am currently in College and I am about to get my Associates Degree in National science and in Bio Allied Health or Nursing in May. I am very excited to become the first generation and the first woman in my family to graduate from college. I decided I wanted to go to college to keep living my good life, thanks to my parents. I want to become the correct role model for my sisters. I would like to help my sisters out every step in College, because I didn't have any help from parents because they didn't go to college. I don't want my sisters to learn or live their college journey in the hard and long way, when they could have my support all the way to the end of their journey. This is also one of the main reasons I am applying to this job. I just turned twenty years old and one of my goals is to become more involved in the medical field and start getting experience for my future career.
