Resume:

Strategic Sourcing/Category Management & Indirect Procurement Professional

Highly energetic, results driven, and resourceful professional with over 17 years of recognized leadership and experience managing third party most critical (or strategic) suppliers and associated supplier risk while impacting performance, growth, and operational efficiencies within various organizations of all types and sizes. Those span across many industries most notably banking & financial services, energy and utilities, information technology (IT), and healthcare/biopharmaceutical.

My expertise is in IT strategic sourcing, IT category management, contract life cycle management and IT supplier performance & risk management. I drive these disciplines with accuracy and focus to bring all aspects of supply chain operations in alignment with corporate business goals, project/program objectives, and technology roadmaps.

I draw upon my formal project management training and certification to routinely apply competency, discipline, and a strong organizational acumen to manage multiple sourcing events (or projects) and complex inter-project relationships simultaneously – always striving to bring each, and everyone to successful close – on time, on budget and within scope.

Am highly effective at contract negotiations and contract life cycle management – always looking to optimize up-front acquisition cost as well as downstream Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)

Proven success adding value and making positive impacts – both as an individual contributor and as a team leader.

Deep and wide experience managing all functions (or work streams) across the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle – from vendor identification/selection, to contract development, contract management through “holistic” performance management.

Was often referred to as a highly effective communicator with a “big picture” mind set and a keen “eye for detail”.

Able to integrate easily and quickly with cross-functional teams and adapt to fast-paced, competitive, and rapidly changing environments. A proven leader, Collaborator, and a “Doer”!

My Specialties:

Category Strategy development; Global supplier governance including Onshore/Offshore vendor oversight - from on-boarding, renewal/replacement through phase-out; RF(x) development and “end-to-end” RF(x) management; Contract life cycle management including contract negotiations and negotiation strategy development; IT Vendor Management Office (VMO) framework development and execution; Vendor performance scorecard and dashboard development.

I am highly “Ops Excellence” minded with laser-eye focus on improving efficiencies and minimizing (or eliminating) waste, process flow redundancy and delays - consistent with the Lean Six-Signa methodology.
