Houston and Austin, Texas areas - Supply Chain Manager of Expansion, First-Day Day Service Contracts

(With Project Management, of Contract Initiation and Implementation)

Managed a Team of (19), utilizing Agile Project Management to Make-Ready ALL the Operations, Clinical, and Service Contracts which would be needed to be activated and in place, for the First-Day opening of a newly built Hospital. That team consisted of:

(4) VPs, (6) Directors, (4) Assistant Directors, (5) Department Managers, several equal level co-workers. The team consisted of 8 different departments: Supply Chain, Operations, Security, Treasury, Clinical, Clinical Support Services, Legal, and The Gift Shop personnel.

WE attacked the daunting task of preparing, evaluating, and performing due-diligence to complete and make-active, nearly 2000 Operational and Clinical contracts. Contracts were reviewed, culled for need, evaluated for updating or creation, then negotiated best-case pricing. The entire endeavor was managed as an Agile Project Manager while performing Supply Chain Management to accomplish Personal and Team goals to completion. Final results achieved to full completion at narrowing nearly 2000 contracts down to 89 Operational and 1128 Clinical contracts. Operations at 98% and Clinical at 98.7% finalized, as of 2 days before MY contract completion. The remaining contracts were in the hands of the Legal Department for final contract construction and signatures.

All Operations and Clinical contracts had to be: Compiled, prioritized, evaluated, reviewed for global application, assessed for expired status, determined if a new Vendor is needed, and assigned a respective team member and their subordinates to have hands-on assistance in this endeavor. ALL to be completed by specified milestone target dates. From contract negotiation initiation of the RFQ to Wet Signatures on the Contractual Agreement.

It is my job to make sure every service and clinical contract, is in place for ALL non-medical equipment, Preventive Maintenance services for that equipment, as well as services to the Hospital and its customers are in place and fully functional. Thus, to assure “Day-One” fluid performance and service to staff and customers alike.
