Accomplishments

I strive to be a positive asset to whatever organization I belong too. I can lead as well as follow and belief highly in teamwork success. I do not know what I do not know and need others to continue to grow. At my two longest employers I supported command programs, succeeded in my role as well as assisted and took on others’ roles to ensure organizational success. At ASF Carson I moved from a mechanic into an electrician position. This position was a gamble for both my employer as well as for myself. I quickly mastered my position and became a vital key member of the group. I took on my challenges there through Physical security and was subtly put in the position to be a moral boost at the request of my supervisor when ASF Carson was reaching a low point of motivation. I conducted office based researched on the subject and created an office game that boosted production as well as brought the team together.

In my time overseas with USARJ I split my time with family, school and the inactive reserves. My wife and I had our second child and remained a family unit through covid-19 complications. I managed to graduate on the Dean’s List and never have less than a full class load. While being put in an emergency essential status I could not hold any obligations beyond my position in USARJ. I was still able to complete 2 of 3 years as good years of service with the IRR. As an employee of USARJ I developed many policy changes to help the quality shop prosper. I also initiated change with publications that were seen Army wide.

The entire time I have been in Federal service I have continued to serve in the Army Reserves. I have served overseas in Afghanistan and completed 2 years of active service to obtain a pilot license. I have also grown through becoming a father and learned how to be a better team player empowered by marriage with my amazing, supportive wife.

I now work in an understaffed team as a critical member completing a workload that would usually overwhelm the group. I have learned to overcome stresses, find a solution, and incorporate others in order to create and be an integral part of a highly productive team.

I will never stop bettering myself and strive to find a position with company that will always push me to become a more accomplished professional.
