State of Oregon Department of Corrections (March 2022-Current)

Assessment, diagnosing and prescribing of medications for the seriously mentally ill within the state prison population. The population served is an amalgamated demographic of various socio-economic, educational, cultural and sexually diverse populations. Core health values were emphasized as an integral part of mental health. The learning sessions included; limited one on one therapy and life skills coaching with components of DBT and CBT integrated throughout sessions.

VA Reno Nevada (Nov 2019-Oct 2021)

HUD-VASH and In home patient Care medical provider. Initiating HUD-VASH medical program. Provided comprehensive outpatient psychiatric and medical care to homeless Veterans. Duties included: Patient assessment, diagnostics, planning, treatment and coordination of care. Provided education to patients regarding treatment options, medical needs as well as non-pharmacological options for treatments and therapies.

VA North Las Vegas (March 2018-November 2019)

Provided comprehensive psychiatric care to patients at the Southwest clinic location and Inpatient Mental health unit as a medical and psychiatric provider for inpatient patients. Duties included: Patient assessment, diagnostics, planning, treatment and coordination of care. Provided education to patients regarding treatment options, medical needs as well as non-pharmacological options for treatments and therapies. Received certification as a TMS provider.

Temporary assignment with Locum Tenens at Peak Wellness Center-Wyoming. Provided comprehensive psychiatric care to patients via telehealth in 3 counties; Laramie, Torrington and Cheyenne. Assessed, diagnosed, planned, treated and evaluated patient throughout the lifespan. Provided education to patients regarding treatment options, medical needs and non-medical options for treatments and therapy.

State Hospital North (Jul. 2016-Nov. 2016)

Assignment with Locum Tenens. Provided comprehensive care to patients with minor injuries, illnesses or newly diagnosed disease. Assessed, diagnosed, planned, treated and evaluated patient care requirements as a solo medical provider in the fifty-bed hospital unit.
