[India] as a Staff Nurse from 4th October 2001 to current. STAFF NURSE OR NURSE

• Full time as a Staff Nurse in Eye Operation Theater, Ward & OPD.

• Co-ordination and organization of Operation Theater, ward and OPD.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to surgical clients.

• Work and train new staff members serve as unit facilitator and act as grief counsellor for patient family members.

• Handling of various eye instruments like Keretometer,Tonometer( schiotz tonometer

&Applination tonometer), A- Scan, B-Scan, Aberrometry Visual Field Test(Perimetry), Optical coherences Tomography, Fundus photography, Auto refractometer etc….

• Corporate Camps

• School Screening.

• Initate Monitor & Inform patient and family members about chemotherapy, Document and communicate to appropriate personnel patient condition, treatment progress and other patient information relative to patient health.

• Assisted surgery in Eye operation theater are Cataract, Pterigium etc.

• Assisted surgery in orthopaedic operation theater are DHS, DCS, Potts spine, Splenectomy, Staphy screw insertion, Harrington rod insertion in kyphosis condition, Total Hip replacement, Total knee replacement, Butters Platting Gulderstone, A M Prosthesis insertion, Humours Platting, Tibia and femur Interlocking nail insertion,Rushnalling and Minor surgery.

• Assess the need of the client plant the care as per the priority and deliver care to the client.

• Monitoring vital signs, pulse, and blood pressure and charting, monitoring intake and output chart.

• Observe physical and emotional condition.

• Carry out the treatment plan as made for the care of clients observe the results of the treatment and its outcome.

• To assist also in ENT/Orthopaedic surgery.

• Taking rounds with Medical Officer and other nursing personnel.

• Checking working condition of equipment’s like infusion pumps, suction apparatus, cautery machine, ENT and Neuro surgery Micro scope, Pulse ox meters, anaesthetic trolley, and oxygen flows meters and taking care of articles.

• Ensure proper safety measures for the client’s relatives of the clients and personnel in the unit.

• Assess, planning, implement and Evaluate Nursing Care, educate patients & family members, relatives to nursing protocol policies/procedure, diet, medication (including Chemotherapy).

• Assisted surgery in ENT operation theater are Mastectomy, Stephedectomy, Maxilectomy, Glosectomy, Thyroidectomy, Radical Neck Dissection in Cacases,Septoplasty,Tonselectomy,Tracheostomy, All Types of Scopes like endoscopy, Direct Laringoscopy etc., In emergency I have conduct all types of emergency like foreign body of oesophagus, Trachea, larynx, etc.

• Assisted surgery in general and Gynaec Operation theater are Laparotomy,herniotomy,gastro,jejunostomy,colostomy,cholistectomy,hernioplasty, removal of Ovarian, Cyst, Ophrectomy,hystectomy, (Abdominal And vaginal ), L.S.C.S, And Minor Surgery,

• To assist all types of delivery and Gynaecology condition.

• Care of New Born, abnormality of new born and management.

• Provide care to clients with tracheostomy cases.

• Care of clients with cerebrovascular accident, operated cases like neck, tongue, larynx, maxalarybone etc., and amputation client.

• Meeting nutritional needs of clients via nasogastric feeds and providing total parental nutritional.

• Care immobile and unconscious clients, care of the dead and the dying.

• Maintain Anaesthetic trolley, drugs and care of rubber tube and connection.

• To handle the haemodialysis and peritoneal haemodialysis.

• To maintain stock like narcotics and other drugs in operation theater.

• Performing nursing procedures like emergency admission and transfer of client, administration of medications and IV fluids, Blood collection including ABG’s, insertion of peripheral lines, Ryle’s tube and Foley’s catheterization.

• Ensure cleanliness of the operation theater.
