SUMMARY
Have extensive experience creating fabrication documentation. Currently I’m using a solid modeling program to create drawings. I’m Familiar with many fabrication processes including sheet metal, moldings, castings, cable harnesses, machining, piping, PCBs, PCB assemblies, and general mechanical assemblies. I’ve created BOM structures for products that have multiple configurations.
I’ve work with products from the R&D phase to the production phase and everything in-between, creating and reviewing all the fabrication documents required at each phase.
I’ve been involved with all the aspects of the “Document change process”. This includes the creation & processing of the process documents, archiving the documents that are changed, and overseeing the dispositions of the materials & their introduction into the production flow.
Supervisory skills:
At work, I have worked with the other engineers directing them in mini projects. With the shop personnel, I’ve supervised them in setting up the production areas for the new products; I’ve directed them in making prototypes for new designs; I’ve directed them in troubleshooting issues to find better processing methods.
Outside of work, I am the technical director for some local Community Theater groups. As technical director, I oversee the personnel and construction of the sets, lighting, special effects, and the stage crews.
