Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Application of various chemistries (i.e., solvents, adhesives, oils, ect.)
Set-up and use of machinery (i.e., belt sander, cutoff saw, grinding wheel, glass lathe, grinder, silkscreen, ovens, ect.)
Use of machinery (i.e., swaging machine, EDM, Lathe, ect.)
Mechanical soldering and use of torches.
Use of measuring and test equipment (i.e., calipers, micrometers, flow regulator/meter, ect.)
Perform intermediate mechanical/qualitative evaluation of product/process failure.
Perform periodic In-process inspection of own work and record results.
Ability to handle small parts with good hand dexteritiy
Ability to read and understand complex blueprints and drawings
Required very close detail orientation work and the use of a microscope with 20/20 vision.
Knowledge of advanced fabrication and assembly skills
