Collaborated within a cross-functional team to enhance Theas Food Pantry, the University's Food Bank addressing food insecurity among students. I utilized Vue.js and Bootstrap to revamp the frontend, creating a more user-friendly and visually appealing interface. On the backend, we implemented Node.js and MongoDB, utilizing Swagger for API specification.

Implemented GitLab workflows, version control and best practices to ensure code quality and consistency. We used Docker containers to create images and maintain consistency of operation across multiple operating systems and end systems.

Transitioned the codebase from legacy JavaScript to TypeScript to enhance developer experience. This made the development process much easier to writer good code more quickly and catch bugs prior to runtime.

Developed and maintained Velt, a university social media web-app using Vue JS, TypeScript, Quasar JS, SASS for the frontend, Node JS for the backend server and Google Cloud Platform tools such as Firebase for user authentication, data storage and analytics. I independently started this project, gathered requirements, went through iterations with the initial prototype followed by testing before deploying it.
