*Performed journeyman and craftman level maintenance and servicing on C-141B, C-141C, and C-5A aircraft in the Aero Repair, Isochronal Dock and Support Equipment/CTK Shop.

*As crew chief, I documented aircraft forms for discrepancies and to schedule various phases of the workflow to correct discrepancies into the appropriate shops to ensure timely remedy of any maintenance supply liaison or other support activities to obtain parts needed for aircraft repairs or modifications.

*From 2006 to 2008- worked in the Isochronal Dock where I performed journeyman and craftman level work including the following:

*Preparing job orders by documenting aircraft forms to schedule various phases of Home Station Check (HSC) and Isochronal Inspections into maintenance shops and following up with shop personnel to see if work is progressing or if additional assistance is needed from other shops. Based on feedback from shops, arrange for adjustment in materials from the Maintenance Supply Liaison and machine processes.

*Utilizing aircraft forms and the G081 data system to effectively follow up with shop on the aircraft discrepancies to identify and address any anticipated changes so that work sequencing can be prioritized.

*Advising on problems and maintaining, servicing, and inspecting aircraft and aerospace ground equipment. Using technical data to diagnose and solve maintenance problems on aircraft systems. Interpreting and advising on maintenance procedures and policies to repair aircraft and -21 equipment.

*Troubleshooting and maintaining aircraft structures, systems, components, and support equipment. Testing repaired components using mockups and test equipment.

*Installed, adjusted, and aligned various subassemblies and components.

*Functionally tested various major and minor mechanical and pneudraulic systems on an aircraft during isochronal inspection.

*Performed preflight and post-flight inspections and operational checks of various aircraft systems using various special tools and test/measuring equipment to determine whether components are operating within prescribed limits, need to be adjusted, or need to be removed or replaced.

*Coordinated disposition of unserviceable condition code “F” DIFM items through AFMCSCM-R Stock Control Activity.

*Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO)- Stored TCTOs and established controls to prevent loss or unauthorized use of their components, and when needed acted as TCTO monitor.

*Processed turn-ins of supplies and spares to ensure that repairable spares are forwarded to a repair facility and ensure proper disposal of condemned items. Processed serviceable turn-ins as required.

*Liaised with maintenance organizations for pickup of DIFM assets and delivered property to the appropriate shipping point or to the regional Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service (DRMS).

*Where required, participate in the intermediate Repair Enhancement Program (IREP). Ensured repairable/non-repairable parts are processed through repair channels. Served as the LRS CC/AO designated representative to manage the repair cycle process.

*Ensured they physically verified the correct item is being returned by maintenance and validated the corresponding documentation.

*Performed housekeeping duties within area and helped maintain a safe working environment.
