Started my own painting business in 2005 and have been self employed as a painting and drywall Contractor for the past 9 years. I have worked in the field on many residential and commercial projects, including contract work for the University of Illinois. I have worked on projects such as hotels, apartment complexes, senior citizen homes, as well as many residential new construction projects as well as renovations. I have general contracted many basements in new homes, where I was responsible for every phase of the construction from pulling permits for electrical and plumbing, as well as overseeing every phase of the project including flooring, electrical, plumbing, drywall, & painting. I obtained valuable knowledge of how to manage new construction projects during this time including reading blueprints and maintaining a timely completion for the owners and builders. Education
