I am a multi skilled Credit professional with more than 15 years, managing the account receivables process from start to finish.

I was involved in the review and amendment of the credit policy of the company and the training of staff about the credit policy. Furthermore, I was involved in a project where the company was acquiring another business in the automotive industry. My involvement included the reassessment of the clients of the acquired company in line with the company credit policy.

I was acting as a mediator between Warehouse, Sales and Service Team by resolving client queries to speed up the Credit management processes. I was involved advising the Sales, Franchise and Retail departments about the credit policy.

Credit Risk Assessment: Managing the account receivables process from start to finish including manual invoicing and payment allocation and reconciliation. Monit0r the credit worthiness of customers and make recommendations on credit limits and payment terms. Prepare and review weekly and monthly ageing reports. Conducting credit checks by evaluating and assess Credit-worthiness of new and existing customers (via Trans- Union, Experian and Inoxico. Confer with credit association and other business representative to exchange credit information (Trade References). Analysis of credit data and determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or granting credit. Evaluate customer records and recommend payment plans based on the turn over, payment history, savings data and purchasing history. Credit Control: Constant monitoring of all accounts receivable to identify any overdue debts and potential problematic accounts. Contacts clients to follow up on overdue invoices. Posting of payments receipts and allocate accordingly.. Plan a course of action to recover outstanding payments and negotiate repayment plan with customers. Sending monthly invoices and statement of accounts and resolve customer billing/credit issues. Daily credit monitoring of accounts receivable balances compared to set credit limit and resolve credit limit 2

breaches. Monthly management reporting on collection activities and accounts receivable status (Age Analysis). Monthly invoices, credit notes and debtors movement reports. Prepare the reports for balance sheet. Monthly Debtors days calculation and Bad Debt Write-Off and calculating provision. Prepare weekly Cash Payment Forecast and submit to FM and Posting WHT on GL.

Interacting with sales team in resolving overdue customer purchase order accounts. Completion of business rescue application and liaising with legal team to take legal action against long outstanding debt. Others: Involved in Audit and Loading client invoices and monitoring their approval on SAP, SAP Ariba, COUPA Supplier portal, ADIENT Supplier System.
