We are assigned to work with different inmates each night. My assignment was to take blood sugar testing and record them on the chart. Check with diabetic monitor with needles and strips to record their blood sugar levels. and give them proper medication. The inmates would inject themselves with the amount that was recorded in book.,when completed I would put neddles in Sharpe container. Doing our routine care, we would check blood pressure on inmates. When the inmates blood pressure would spike high, we would have to check them every 10 minutes until stable.
