Rubbermaid

Electrical Facilities Technician

The electrical facilities technician position is responsible for fixing the problems the process technicians can’t fix. We work on electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and water flow problems as well as general troubleshooting and maintenance. We use logical troubleshooting steps to troubleshoot where the problem is so that we can make needed repairs. When needed, we pull electric or hydraulic prints or manuals for machines or parts to figure out the equipment malfunction. The equipment we repair most often are plastic blow molding and injection machines, Fanuc robots, air compressors, chillers, flamers, as well as most electrical auxiliary equipment. We inspect relays, cards and fuses for electrical problems as well as read through logic when needed to figure out if plc’s are giving the correct outputs or receiving the correct inputs to run as they should.
