Summary: Working in the healthcare field as a certified nurse assistant (CNA) there are responsibilities that come along with the profession such as professional patient-care, charting skills, being reliable, compassionate, technically skills, and diverse training that is required. Also, as a CNA, they may be obligated to give a patient a bath, maintain their proper hygiene, feed them, and make sure the patient takes their medication on time in a hospital or a nursing home setting.

Depending on the severity of the patient and if they are doing homecare as a CNA, they may possibly have to go grocery shopping for the patient, help the patient move around, change bandages, and cook for them. A CNA must continuously always communicate with the nurses as well as the doctors dealing with the patient.
