JOB PROFILE

Responsible for operation and maintenance of Electrical infrastructure of’ 169 sites Reliance communication ltd. at Mohali.

Main Responsibilities

Daily visit to BSC & critical sites.

Supervision of maintenance of all passive infra like DG, Aircon, PIU, Shelter, Tower, Power Plant, Battery Bank, Earthing, Lightening arrestor, Aviation Lamp, Temperature Sensors, Fire & Smoke Panels,servo.

Co-ordination with Engineers, Technician & guards in case of emergency.

Ensure all External Alarms are extended to OMC.

Take External Alarms at regular interval from OMC & ensure that all the alarms are attended and cleared.

Ensure all DGs/PIU are working on Auto mode.

Ensure Battery Backups are properly working. Carry out drain tests & results to be submitted to Cluster Electrical Engineer.

Ensure diesels topups at sites & diesel consumption is within limit.

Ensure that Electricity Meters are running properly & no electricity connection is cut at sites.

Maintenance of DG Service records, AC Service records, No. of Operators records & Electricity bill tracker sheets.

To check that HMR meter is not tampered & if there is any theft of diesel, passive or active item, immediately inform to Cluster Electrical Engineer

To check availability of log book registers, Site Cleanliness, Shelter leakage & Shelter Door & Inform Cluster Electrical Engineer

Installation, Commissioning and maintenance of Power Plants of various makes and models of Delta, Eltek, Tyco and Emerson.

Knowledge of various Panels used at sites for automation like PACE, SAMSON, EVA and PIU’s from ACME and LIBERITY

Knowledge of DGs of make Mahindra, Kirloskar,Perfect,Cummins & Wilson.

Revival of Cells to make Strong Battery Bank Back up at sites.

Troubleshooting of electrical equipment during problems to prevent and minimize downtime by self and coordinating with technicians.

Ensure timely PM at sites to maintain a health electrical condition of site.

Co-ordination with Operators (Airtel, Idea, Vodafone, Tata, Connect & Reliance) regarding any activity to be carried out.

Knowledge of LT Breaker and Panel ( Larson Tobro ) .
