With over 20 years in Quality Control/Assurance and Engineering, I am presently embarking on the next phase of my career. EXPERIENCE

09/2022-01/2023 Embedded Quality Technician at SK Battery

Duties include but are not limited to compiling a database of current status of approximately 2500 items [ hand tools, gauges and electronic test equipment] used in the production of Lithium Ion car battery production. Scheduling calibration by manufacturers, performing calibrations, gathering data regarding current calibration interval effectiveness and adjustment of intervals when needed. Working in a multicultural environment required strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others in order to accomplish company goals.

02/2022- 06/2022 Quality Engineer at Geiger Automotive

Duties include but not limited to: Working directly with customer [ BMW, Daimler] QEs to improve quality of delivered product by utilizing Quality tools such as 8D, 5 why methodologies. Processing customer Quality Notifications and utilizing information gathered to improve internal processes and improve product Quality. This entails utilizing customers supplier portals and format. Working directly with customer QEs to initiate and complete all aspects of PPAP for new parts. Monitor production floor for Quality issues, devise and implement improvements by partnering with internal engineering, tooling and production personnel and supervisors. Devise and implement rework of items produced with quality issues. This entails assuring that rework cells have proper documentation and trained personnel and are meeting target numbers to meet customer demand. Constant interaction with customer QEs, internal production staff, logistics and top management.

07/2017-11/2021 Quality Engineer at Nor-Ral Plastics Perform all phases of QC functions within FAA, NADCAP and military environments. Manufacturing of composites, metal and plastic components, sub-assemblies, and finished goods. Perform materials testing, incoming, in-process and finished good inspection. Initiate and follow-through of defective and corrective action reports.

●Developed and rolled-out new customer package certification procedure which decreased process from two hours to 15 minutes.

04/2017-7/2017 Quality Engineer at Nexxspan Developed processes and procedures for inbound, in-process and outbound inspection of raw materials, assemblies, and finished goods [over 400 items]. Identified holes in manufacturing processes. Responsible for communicating defects to suppliers, issuance of corrective action requests and processing to acceptable completion. Daily interaction with suppliers, customers, management, and production personnel. Management of internal and external calibration and verification of all inspection and production devices. On-site customer training on product usage.

●Achieved roughly $200K savings by identifying holes in

internal processes.

7/2014-4/2017 QC Coordinator at Lund International Developed processes and procedures inspections of incoming raw materials, in-process and finished products. Responsible for communicating defects to suppliers, production personnel and management. Initiation of Corrective Action Requests and follow thru of all issues to acceptable closure. Maintaining database for over 500 items [measuring devices and test fixtures] requiring calibration/verification. Performed internal audits on all aspects of product realization. Participated in PPAP, first article and development and issuance of production check fixtures.

●Learned to perform inspections/set-ups using FARO CMM and Spectrophotometer, wrote relevant procedures and trained colleagues in machine usage. This equipment had been acquired before my onboarding; however, no one had learned how to use them.

6/2009-7/2014 QC Coordinator at General Dynamics C4S Developed and initiated inspection criteria for over 2,000 raw materials and assemblies. Onsite inspection of military and industrial satellite receiver systems. Maintained calibration system for over 250 items utilized in production of antenna systems, electronic test instruments, hand tools and test fixtures. Managed and performed incoming assessment of 300 satellite communication systems received from USMC for upgrade and functionality verification. Performed internal audits of Quality Systems. Authored work instructions for internal calibration and test functions

●Attached certainty to over 1,200 USMC component drawings which had been an ongoing source of discontent to USMC.
