Owner February 2022 - Present

As an Owner and Operator of Red Bird’s, I was responsible for the day-to-day operations, budgeting, profitability, and performance of the restaurant. Additionally, I assisted in all aspects of food inventory, catering sales coordination, hiring and monitoring employees, advertising, building, and establishing vendor relationships, and managing POS operations. I own 50% of the business and I will continue to own a small percentage as long as the restaurant is open.

Payroll/HR Manager/Driver September 2020 to February 2022

I was a BC (business contact) for FedEx Ground representing Cahaba Valley and Steel City Couriers. As a BC, I was responsible for the day-to-day operation of a FedEx Ground contract delivery company. I must follow all agreed assignments set forth under the contract between FedEx and company. This includes but not limited to, recruitment, training, scheduling, route building, delivery management, FCC, DSW and DRO report building, managing and execution plans. Working close with the owner on improvement plans and resolving customer delivery issues. Other duties include managing the payroll and HR department. This includes some of the following duties. Working with Alabama DOT with background and approval of new drivers and renewing of current DOT cards. Making sure the company is complying to all state and federal labor laws. Making sure all employee files are current and up to date. Processing all workers comp claims and working very closely with the insurance company to stay in compliance. In the early summer of 2015, I developed a purchase deal with the owners of the two restaurants and we were able to sell all three locations to an investment group. The deal closed in late August 2015.
