3. Planning for resources and manpower for shutdown of the plant and execution including start-up. 4. Line up of the unit and its auxiliaries, Change-over of equipments, routine testing of protection system and annunciation system.

5. Issue and cancellation PTW (Permit to Work) system, safe isolation, personnel safety and equipment safety.

6. Monitoring plant operations and handle emergencies including shut-down of units and load throw-off to control generation as per requirement. 7.
