My background and passions focus on “being human” with much of my experience at the intersection of public policy, theology, and bioethics. With over 20 years of public policy, community outreach and non-profit advocacy, my skill set is wide and learned “in the field” usually within the world of advocacy and public policy. Previous work includes positions with three federal Members of Congress, two national non-profits, two state-wide non-profits, election initiatives, local, state and federal campaigns, small business marketing, print sales, campaign consulting, in-home senior care and public speaking & consulting on issues of bioethics since 2006.

$2,000,000 annually. Develop & manage new grant application and online submission process, create a review process; recruit and brief review committee, organize and oversee review committee meeting, develop and train recipients on invoicing for grant funds, speaking for annual state-wide conference and local staff trainings Accomplishments: in 18 months, I managed three successful grant application and selection cycles to distribute nearly $4 million dollars among 14 pregnancy medical clinics or centers. Responsibilities: directing legislative affairs, lobbying, events, coalition building, list management, project management, and representing at the organization at national board meetings and conference.
Accomplishments: created, planned (and emceed 2 of the 3 ) annual “Lunch & Learn” events highlighting the work of pregnancy support centers and medical clinics in Georgia. Organized and executed two legislative policy briefings on life issues and GLA’s legislative priorities for state legislators. Lobbied two bills through the legislative process and to the Governor’s desk for signature.
