RESPONSIBILITIES:

My position demands strong understanding of business, accounting, and finance groups requirements to design, develop, and deliver consolidated reports on a consistent basis in an automated fashion without any human intervention.

When new projects are assigned, I meet various customers, gather their requirements, project deadlines. Even though I am working on various high-profile projects, I work very hard and delivery the projects well ahead of time and keep all my customers very happy.

I am very efficient in troubleshooting the data for any inaccuracies, identify root causes and take appropriate actions to fix the problem before the data is presented to my customers.

Before creating the reports, I arrange meetings with customers and understanded their requirements. After implementation of the reports, I ask them to test/validate the reports to satisfy their need. Once I got the approvals from the customers then I automate reports and schedule them to run on daily/weekly based on their requirements.

After database implementation, I check/test implemented tables for data validity, data integrity, data accuracy (row counts, dollar amount, certain changed fields and make sure that the data is populated accurately), run complex SQL queries to thoroughly test its capabilities and responsiveness.

Join multiple tables and simplify the process by using append queries, update queries, applying filters, and writing formulas.

Publish dashboards.

Schedule jobs to run automatically.

Sprint/Nextel 2005 – 2020

AV built a new Platform called Bill Track Pro (BTP). This Platform has Wire Line IXC, CDMA, IDEN, and ADMIN data. Before BTP conversion, Wire Line IXC data was in CBS system, CDMA data was in COA system, IDEN and ADMIN data was used and maintained by Nextel group on their won systems.

Once Bill Track Pro Platform was Built, I developed the reports and Applications needed for Management of AV Department Operations & Non-AV groups. These Applications were originally created in various platforms like Oracle, Crystal, DB2, COBOL, and Excel Modules. I had to understand the code from various platforms with no guidance and develop these applications in Access Database and Business Unit for Automation process. This was a very challenging project for me since I had to understand the old CBS, COA, and NEXTEL data and also understand the BTP platform for creating similar reports. After conversion I tested all these reports in BTP and matched the results against the old data and they were accurate. All these reports are run on a monthly basis. I maintain these reports and modify the code based on management requests.

*Developed Rz Canned Reports and Certified reports from a data level. Created queries to produce the results meeting the report requirements and ran the queries to evaluate the results. Research discrepancies.

The analyses are done using SqlPlus, SQL Server 2000 and Access Database, Toad, Crystal Report, Visual Basic, and SSH secure shell. The results are presented using Automation process of Excel files, emails, and pagers.

I also analyze how much revenue is generated from each customer based on different active lines. The MKIS database is developed in ORACLE. The analysis is done using SqlPlus and Access Database, Toad, Crystal Report and MicroStrategy. The results are presented using PowerPoint and Excel.
