Career Summary

I have been associated with Great Eastern Energy since 2012 to present. Over 11 years’ experience as a Geologist. Adopting standard safe work practices and procedures in accordance with GEECL safety policies. Responsible for the day to day Geological, Geophysical & Reservoir related activities for Exploration and Production of Coal Bed Methane, manages production for a field and looks for ways of getting more hydrocarbons out of it. A total number of 16 exploratory wells and 150 production wells have been drilled till date to degasify coal seam. S r. G e o l o g i s t at Great Eastern Energy Corporation Ltd. (GEECL). Placed in field at Raniganj south CBM block, Asansol (W.B) for Coal Bed Methane Exploration and Production.

• Monitoring, Quality control and reporting all sub-surface Geological and Geophysical activity at the site and for the accurate and timely dissemination of the reports in accordance with accepted company standard formats and procedures; ensuring the geological & geophysical objectives of the well are achieved; and document result of work, preparing reports, displays and communicate all activities to the operation team.

• Supervise core hole drilling and core logging at drill site, recovery operations and organize shipment of core to ensure all cores are properly recovered and stored. The core hole data analysis and estimating the volume of reserve, formulating development plans and making projections.

• Supervise Vertical, Directional and Under-Balance Drilling, my skills include geological evaluations, determination of formations tops, all casing shoe depth and giving the final depth.

• Geophysical Well logging and formation evaluation; interpretation of Geophysical logs, supervise the deployment of logging tools and ensure the accurate acquisition of geophysical data mainly wireline logging data and management of geophysical database.

• To interpret cased hole logs (CBL and VDL) to find formation to cement and cement to casing bond. From CBL to locate casing collar for depth correlation during perforation

• Operational support: Well proposal, supervising mud logging, IFT, Coil Tubing Perforation in highly deviated and vertical wells.

• Stimulation (Hydraulic fracturing and Acidizing) of Raniganj CBM block of GEECL India by Halliburton: To prepare hydraulic fracturing design of well. Well Acquainted with whole process of hydraulic fracturing for both vertical and directional well and fracture multiple zones in single-field operations, and shock coalbed methane formations to produce longer, cleaner perforations.

• Documentation of Geological reports and analysis, making strategies for Artificial lifting system and planning successful workover operations to optimizing well production. Earlier I have worked as a Asst. Geologist in Total CBM India Pvt. Ltd. New Delhi. Placed in the field/Drilling site at Sohagpur North, Shahdol, M.P. for CBM Coal bed methane Exploration and Potentiality studies sponsored by Reliance Natural Resources and Geopetrol Inc. AND Satpura basin in Chindwara district M.P. Sponsored by DART ENERGY. Software
