* Over the years I have carried a variety of jobs. I recently began teaching children at an outdoor immersion school in Freeport, Maine which required passing background checks by DHHS and being fingerprinted by the state and other various trainings. Before that, I began working at Maine Medical Center to give back after dual brain surgeries in early 2021 (my CNA cert is active). For the previous 9 years I was a self-employed business owner of high end Ornamental Gardening company during the spring, summer, and fall with winters off and have a 2 year degree in NP and EH. For the last 4 years I've also staged houses for real estate. I have waitressed or bartended (all done with that) while either in the social work field or owning my own business. 7 years previous to incorporating my own business, I worked in the Humanities field. I have apprenticed on an organic farm and am a MOFGA certified master gardener. I’ve worked at a greenhouse and nursery, and the Whole Grocer in Portland. I am extremely passionate about sustainable living and local food/produce and love to share and connect with people in relation to that! I have traveled the country and feel I have a lot to share, teach, and learn from others. I love healthy food, sustainability, green living and everything outdoors. I am outgoing, high-energy, physically fit, familiar with power tools and building in many aspects, love to run, and do my best to engage in a healthy and holistic lifestyle. I am a mother first above all else.

This position sounds perfect for me and I would definitely be interested in continuing on through the summer.
