Writer and Project Lead for Fesora, a Non-profit organization. Fesora is an online learning platform who is committed to improving educational access and opportunity. The grants I have written for Fesora include proposals to DoD, NSF, Tribal grants, and Utah State grants. I have worked closely with the Governor’s Office for the State of Utah in this process.
Researched and wrote three studies for Northern Utah’s Economic Alliance. The studies included: Aerospace and Defense, Outdoor Products, and Advanced Manufacturing. These studies are currently published on The Northern Utah’s Economic Alliance’s website.
Served as a team writer on the Shoshone Warehousing feasibility study.
Functioned as the Project Lead for The Defense Orientation Conference Association (DOCA). This required the organization and presentation of monthly webinars that hosted defense industry experts, both present and past, in discussions and roundtables.
Created and developed some of the illustrative materials, selecting drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts.
Wrote an economic development grant for a funding opportunity in New Mexico.
Reimagined clients’ social media content by assessing the audience and aligning the purpose with the product.

Responsibilities:
Interview, hire, and train all new instructors/adjuncts. As the Director of Developmental of English, large administrative responsibilities fall within my job title. I negotiate the contracts with the new hires and get everything set up for them financially. This job requires a refined balancing act for a multiplicity of ways. To saw it shortly, I as responsible to ensure enrollment remains that same or increases. If the courses go one of the two ways, it creates budgetary issues for the program. I am a problem solver, but I make a concerted effort to prevent the problem from happening to begin with.
Teach a full load of English classes each semester that focus on basic reading, writing and critical thinking skills.
Build, create, and facilitate online classes so they fulfill university goals and objectives.
Collaborate with Assistant Provost, Eric Amsel, to build co-requisite program Wildcat Scholars.
Evaluate retention strategies and create goals that align with students’ needs.
Write proposals for university and departmental funding projects.
Serve as a committee member for multiple diversity initiatives.
Support students to reach academic, professional, and personal goals.
