Objective: Obtain Oil & Gas off-shore/on-shore Field Construction Mechanical Engineer position.

Qualification:

Oil and Gas safety first culture, multi discipline hands-on construction mechanical Engineer, experience in installation, mechanical completion, pre commissioning, equipment preservation, preventive and corrective maintenance of rotating and static equipment; pumps, compressors, steam and gas turbines, pressure vessels, process column’s, heat ex changers, fin fan air coolers, fired heaters, piping and valves, assist commissioning and startup of process units, rotating equipment, process pumps, compressors, steam and gas turbines, diesel, and natural gas-powered engines, and static equipment; pressure vessels, process columns, heat ex changers, piping systems and hydro testing process etc.

Support the construction Management, overseeing the management of construction contractors, vendors, and support services.

Provide field services and inspection of construction activities related to equipment installation, mechanical completion, material preservation, coating and welding.

Support maintenance of project schedule implementation, compliance to project design, standards and work procedures.

Project cost tracking and reporting as needed by project management.

Provide HES leadership to contractors, vendors and teammates. Coordinate system improvements and modifications and other special projects.

Participate and assist pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, and provide technical support for major capital projects.

Conduct performance analysis of rotating and static equipment to identify performance & operating deviations to provide a resolution on developing deficiencies.

Partner with vendors to resolve technical problems and develop new solutions.

Research, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.

Recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.

Large machinery lube oil systems cleaning and flushing, review oil analysis to determine potential problems.

Provide information and assistance to construction management and employees regarding daily work activities, scheduling, operational changes, etc.

Working knowledge, piping, valves, pressure relief devices, and related mechanical integrity inspections. Working knowledge and training related to; Company/Governmental operating and safety procedures, Emergency response procedures and construction work management system.

Train, direct, and supervise technical working knowledge of personnel policies and procedures.

Knowledgeable in vendor and shop drawings, P&IDs, PFDs, piping layouts, factory acceptance test (FAT),

technical standards and codes ASTM, ASME, ANSI, API and able to read and interpret manuals, policies, procedures, permits, governmental regulations, construction drawings and maps, contractor quotes, reports, and correspondence. Knowledgeable in Engineering and administrative methods, non-conformance report, verify Materials, equipment quality, purchase orders, Instruction Manuals, drawings, specifications, planning, Engineering surveillance plan.

Awareness of shop and field construction, operation and maintenance work safety compliance with oil and gas HSE rules, procedures and regulation.

Provide Engineering support to the construction and commissioning team.

Review and preparation, issue and implementation of construction Engineering documents, detailed procedures, method statements, drawings, calculation notes, list of construction equipment, list of personnel, planning back-up procedures.
