Supervisor PAS Texas Health Resources 2017 – 2018

Texas Health Resources employs 12000 professionals in a 2000 – bed hospital.

I am currently a supervisor of the Emergency Room. I manage a current staff of 50 employees. My current job duties include staff schedules, staff PTO, coordinating the staff to work areas. I process daily reports: RINC (unregistered patients), Unsigned consents, Payable time summary (Payroll), Productivity (monthly), Morning Huddles, Daily management meetings, Disciplinary action for staff. The Emergency Room can occupy 200 patients. Cross-Trained in Out Patient services – Breast center, Radiology, Day Surgery, Dialysis, etc. Epic super user – assisted with “GO LIVE “process. Available to trouble shoot and assist staff members in all area of the hospital. Epic Trainer.

Admissions Registration Wise Health Systems 2016- 2017 -2017

Wise Health System employees 1500 employees in a 100 – bed hospital

Registrar. Registers patients-gathering demographical information from patients and entering into computer. Obtains insurance cards, picture identification and consents from patients and scans into system. Coordinates will all departments and rotates campuses as needed. Responsible for collecting copays, deductibles and deposits from patients. Supports and answers switchboard. Uses best customer service with patients, families, visitors and staff.

Team LEAD Medical Center of McKinney 2015 – 2017

The Medical Center of McKinney employs 1500 professionals in a 260-bed hospital.

Secured team lead role within only 4 months of hire. Register patients and process multiple reports: mismatch mode of arrival, Medicare and Medicaid compliance, employee Q&A, labor and delivery registration, DASH admits, direct admits, overflow outpatients, and clinical registrations. Focus on being exact and professional in high-stress ER position. Known for keeping a cool head under pressure. Lead team to provide only the best customer service and care.

Earned consideration for managerial program, temporarily turning it down to complete MBA. Trained all 12 team members carefully, crafting them into excellent employees who never disappoint. Developed better system for registrations so no detail is missed during busy periods. Played key role in pushing turnaround time from triage to final registration to less than 1% — the best in the region.
