Membership Coordinator

Served as first point of contact for IVR members and the general public. Responsible for promoting and increasing all types of memberships thru phone calls, emails and personal contact. Organized member data and files, answered emails and phone calls, ordered office supplies and interacted with other business and community organizations.

Created an IVR Policy Procedure manual. It outlined step-by step how to process all types of memberships, listed our business contacts, developed instructions how to process bank deposits, Supra ekey, Clareity/Matrix issues and created specific forms needed for the various memberships.

Initiated the review of all IVR paper and computer files for over 400 members. Each file was updated with copies of their current NV. Real Estate licenses, rosters, IVR website, Mail Chimp and Rapattoni listings.

Snapshot Friday reports were created weekly with details regarding daily calls, member updates, number of new and resigning members, upcoming projects, and other issues, challenges and questions.

Actively involved with the “Stuff the Bus” campaign to raise funds and collect school supplies for the local public schools.

Coordinated, wrote and presented several Safety programs for IVR members. Topics included: Personal Safety, Stop the Bleed and Active Shooter.

Dallas CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) Inc. Dallas, TX. 2017- 2015

Established as a Texas 501 C, I served as Board Secretary and V- President for this non-profit that works closely with the City of Dallas – Office of Emergency Management. The organization provides CERT training, tools, supplies and information to Dallas residents to be utilized in making the community prepared in the event of an emergency.

Assisted with the planning, organization and coordination of the 2017 and 2018 Spring Training Express. The educational training sessions included refresher classes, interior searches, lifts and carriers, preparedness kits and a disaster stimulation exercise.

Developed and taught a Spring Training Express class – Emergency Preparation for your Pets.

Organized, development and oversaw Spring Training Raffles for 2017 and 2018. My team secured donated items from local community businesses and corporate partners.

Directed year-round fund-raising thru donations, gift cards, raffles, sponsorships, and corporate foundations.

Recruited and trained CERT volunteers to become Moulage certified. The make-up artist course included how to purchase, apply makeup and create wounds that would be applied to volunteer ‘victims’ for our simulated disaster trainings.
