Dialysis Nurse, Fresenius Seyrantepe, Istanbul; Private Can Hospital, Antalya, and Andaolu University Hospital, Eskisehir, Turkey 1987-2010

Patient support to those with chronic kidney failure and in need of dialysis three times a week. Duties included being a strong team member as the staff nurse that handled multiple patients at one time; checking vitals; cleaning out toxins; and being a liaison from the patient to the family.

PERSONAL STATEMENT:

As a Turkish native and one that has traveled in over eighteen different countries, I am sensitive to people of all races, ethnic backgrounds and genders. Having worked in the health field for over thirty years of my life, I feel a special connection to my patients and students. My husband and I moved to Denver in 2019 and since then I have been studying English to improve my communication abilities by attending various schools and colleges and also completing my C N A course. All of my credentials in Turkey for my RN have been verified and submitted to the Board (Colorado of Nursing Board ). I have scheduled to take my IELTS test and also my NCLEX exam over the next few months. I would like to find work in a local hospital or health center to share my expertise and continue to help others dealing with their health challenges.
