OBJECTIVE: I am wanting to get back into the workforce after choosing to stay home and take care of mother who had Alzheimer’s and after she passed I sat with 2 family friends who was also disabled or had dementia. I have 25+ years of accounting (receivables, payables, payroll), Microsoft Office and Word, purchasing and deliveries, 45+ wpm typing, customer service, filing and almost anything needed to be done to work in an office setting. I also have HR experience which includes background checks, recording all the vacation, PTO, and sick days also keep track and maintaining required annual skills or health checks. I also have 20+ years in supervisory experience with anywhere from 5 to 20 employees at any given time. I also have 5 years of experience in collections. I, also, have many years of customer service. Open Arms Christian Ministries: Comptroller from 11/2010 to 08/2013

Duties: All accounting (payables, receivables, payroll), financial reports monthly and annually including P & L and general ledger reporting, hiring and firing of all employees which included new hire paperwork. Tracked all the annual checks: CPR, drug testing, etc., as needed for each employee as needed, petty cash, answered phones and filing

Weimuth and Sons, Inc: Office Manager from 08/2009 to 11/2010

Duties: All accounting (payables, receivables, payroll), financial reports monthly and annually including P & L and general ledger reporting, hiring and firing of all employees which included all new hire paperwork. I did ordering and receiving (matching purchase orders with delivery/shipping paperwork). Anything that needed done to help the office run smoothly. I also was the head supervisor of 12-17 employees at any given time.

Woodforest National Bank: Branch Manager from 03/2006 to 08/2009

Duties: I opened new bank accounts for new customers, ran a teller drawer, ordered cash, hired and fired all the employees and did all the paperwork for new hires and exit interviews. Financial reports monthly and annually including P and L. I worked with the financial reports in regards to making my branch profitable and staying profitability. Drop checks on cash drawers.
