Director of Warehouse Operations

Operations Director for 2 warehouses (1 refrigerated food) managing 3 shifts of 25-35 employees each.

Upgraded procedures of their food transportation operation bringing in additional features such as delivery time prediction

Worked with safety committee to retrain all forklift drivers and implement new procedures reducing incidents by 75%.

Implemented new attendance programs to hold employees accountable for their dependability, resulting in significant reductions in understaffing, and better employee retention.

Company had issues with on time network delivery. Headed project to correct and properly schedule deliveries to greatly improve on time performance. Went from missing deliveries on a daily basis, to having all deliveries packed and shipped by 7:00AM.

Rebuilt company safety program due to excessive monthly injuries. Once complete, the injury rate was decreased to nearly zero.

Cooper Electric Supply (May 2015 – February 2017)

NYDC Warehouse Operations Manager

Manager of distribution center with over 100 employees responsible for receiving, transportation, production, picking and packing, in multiple shifts. Facility covered all five boroughs of New York City and Long Island with over $6m in inventory and 26 major routes.

Overhauled warehouse operations, reducing major backlog of customer and sales force complaints due to inaccurate orders. This entailed retraining and staffing adjustments, which resulted in an 80% reduction of complaints within four months.

Chairman of company safety committee. Policies implemented reduced workplace injuries and accidents by approximately 50%.

United Parcel Service (October 1995 – March 2012)

Supervised 150-200 tractor trailer drivers over several territories throughout the United States, responsible for scheduling, dispatching, tracking, and routing all vehicles within assigned territories.
