SENIOR A/V SPECIALIST, 2020 - PRESENT

National Democratic Institute, Washington, DC

● Oversee the operation of audio/video technologies in 19 huddle, conference, and boardroom meeting spaces. I ensure our technology is suitable for our hybrid workforce, for in-office users as well as those working remotely.

● Managed a major overhaul and addition project during our building's remodeling. Adding 9 additional huddle spaces as well as retrofitted existing conference rooms with scheduling tablets, Touchscreen displays, upgraded cameras, and in some rooms, Shure ceiling speaker/microphone combo devices.

● Prior to office redesign, I researched, sourced and installed the Aver video soundbar vb342+ (similar to Crestron UC video soundbar)

● On the onset COVID-19 work-from-home orders, I facilitated training sessions on Webex, Zoom, Google Meet, MS Teams, and RingCentral platforms. I trained users on regular meetings, webinars, simultaneous interpretation, best practices, and security.

● Other responsibilities include interfacing with outside AV vendors to perform major technology upgrades to our boardrooms, equipment maintenance, and conducting training when necessary.
